VBED®︎2 ベッドナジウム木製は、ジョセフ・ピラティスが生涯をかけて追求した「V型ベッド（V-Bed）」の思想を現代に継承し、日本の職人技ととうきょうの木　多摩産材を使用した環境に配慮した材料で多機能ピラティス器具＆睡眠用ベッドです。

「動」と「休」が同じ空間でつながるVBED®︎2は、その理想を形にした次世代ウェルネスマシンです。

独自開発のロッキングフレーム機構により、微細な揺れが自律神経を整え、睡眠導入をサポート。

Overview

VBED® 2 Bednasium (Wooden Model) is a multifunctional Pilates apparatus and sleeping bed that carries forward the philosophy of the “V-shaped bed (V-Bed)” pursued throughout the life of Joseph Pilates.

It is crafted using environmentally responsible materials made from Tokyo Timber (Tama-grown domestic wood) and refined through Japanese craftsmanship.

VBED® 2 seamlessly connects movement and rest within the same space, embodying a next-generation wellness machine that unites both states in one platform.

Features

1. Ideal postural support through a V-shaped structure

The gently inclined V-shaped design follows the body’s midline, naturally guiding the spine and internal organs into optimal alignment, supporting healthy breathing and circulation.

It is suitable not only for Pilates exercises, but also for napping, meditation, and recovery.

2. Made from Tama-grown cypress (“Tokyo Timber”)

VBED® 2 uses Tama-grown domestic timber to promote the expansion of demand for Japanese wood and to support the sustainable circulation of forest resources.

Through appropriate forest management, the product contributes to the multiple functions of forests, supports local forestry, and helps pass on a rich natural environment to future generations.

3. Rocking mechanism

The proprietary rocking frame mechanism generates subtle, gentle motion that supports regulation of the autonomic nervous system and facilitates sleep onset.

The transition between movement and stillness is created not by mechanical switching, but by rhythm.

4. Multi-attachment compatibility

Exercise accessories can be mounted and combined, including springs, straps, roll-up bars, and more.

By reconfiguring these components, the system can be freely adapted for Pilates, rehabilitation, stretching, meditation, and napping according to the intended use.

5. Manufacturing and supply system

Local production bases in Ome City and Okutama Town, Tokyo, enable a local production–for–local consumption model, reducing transportation impact and contributing to the regional economy.

The rocking frame adopts a traditional lattice (Kōshi-gumi) structure, allowing airflow and light to pass through so that bedding can be used in a clean and hygienic condition.
